Dean Kingham (PC 5924)To introduce myself I am Dean Kingham (PC 5924) and am the new Neighbourhood Specialist Officer (NSO) for your area, I have moved out of a response role in Aylesbury into this rural role and can now be found based at Waddesdon Police Station. I am slowly finding my way around all the villages, and meeting lots of friendly people on my patrols.
I have been given lots of information about the different policing issues that I can help out with; I have gone out of my way to be trained on the speed gun as all of the villages I have visited have made complaints of drivers speeding. Since being trained on the 1st February 2009 I have issued over 70 speeding tickets resulting in people having either 3 points on their licence or being referred to driving courses, I have stopped a further 50-60 cars and given advice about their driving manner.
I have also had a lot of involvement with the village schools and parking issues that often happen in the rural locations with lack of parking and time restraints of modern parents.
